I think I have responded to the work of other photographers by recreating the an old photo of the same people.
My composition includes two people the photos have slightly different backgrounds as that could not be recreated exactly the subject matter is the two people and how they have changed.
My viewpoint is taken from eye level and is straight on. I think that the perspective makes my viewer feel like they were their when the shot was taken as in the first one like as atmosphere can be felt during the photo and the recreation.
The focal point in my photograph is the two people the rule of thirds is not used in this photo as it is just a centre photo.
The lighting used is artificial light mixed with daylight and casts a light shadow on the wall which creates more depth in the photograph
Curved lines are used in the photo, this is showing the shapes of the people. My Colour and Tonal Scheme is whites, blacks and pinks, they all complement each other, this makes the photo more eye catching.
I wanted to create a story behind my piece, of what people look like after time has past and to allow people to see what things use to be like.
I wanted to create a feeling of memories and showing happy times and showing that they are still happy.
